AAM’s Museums Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. February 26-27

MAAM will be heading to Washington, D.C. to make the case that museums are essential community assets that bolster local economies and play a vital role in lifelong learning. Museums Advocacy Day is a critical chance to make a unified case to Congress about the value of museums, and a unique opportunity to invest in yourself and build your own advocacy skills. The American Alliance of Museums provides policy briefings and schedules your meetings on Capitol Hill.

Will you be there to share your museum story with your legislators?
It’s up to all of us. Let’s make sure members of Congress—and elected officials at the state and local level—hear from the most influential kind of advocates: their constituents.
