Museum professionals identifying as members of the LGBTQIA+ community discuss successful models of LGBTQIA+ inclusion and representation within American museums. With examples ranging from contemporary art to heritage preservation, national best practices and personal experience will be leveraged for a conversational primer on engaging with the cultural legacy and demographic needs of the LGBTQIA+ community inside and outside the walls of your institution.
