Annual MuseWeb conference

Join fellow professionals and experts online this April for #MW21 on April 5, 6, 7, 16, 23, and 30. As always, the annual MuseWeb conference brings together museum and cultural heritage professionals from around the world to consider advanced research and exemplary applications of digital practice for cultural, natural, and scientific heritage. This year’s virtual format and lower price point encourages broad participation from both new attendees and conference stalwarts: there is much to see, report, and
discuss.

Engage this year by attending workshops on various days throughout the conference, along with presentations, demonstrations, and conversations in a range of formats like lightning talks, crit rooms and birds-of-a-feather gatherings.

A full schedule of tours and social events also are available, including special tours of the newly opened Australian Center of Moving Image, National Museum of the United States Army and Planet World! Also, you don’t want to miss the Lonnie Bunch, Secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, as he participates in a fire-side chat for the conference keynote on April 7th.

If you have felt isolated by pandemic-related restrictions, attending this year’s MW21 isthe perfect opportunity for you to rejoin the conversation, connect with old friends and hear about how others have responded to a year of previously unimaginable change.
