26 JanDeadline Extension: Save America’s Treasures
Deadline extended for Save America’s Treasures (SAT) grants from the Historic Preservation Fund that provide preservation and/or conservation assistance to nationally significant historic properties and collections. $25 million to be awarded through a competitive process that requires a dollar-for-dollar, non-Federal match, which can be cash or documented in-kind. SAT is administered by the National Park Service (NPS) in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Preservation projects fund physical preservation of historic buildings, sites, structures, and objects. Collection projects include conservation of artifacts, museum collections, documents, sculptures, and works of art.

Preservation projects involve properties listed in the National Register of Historic Places for national significance or designated a National Historic Landmark. The property may be listed individually or as contributing to a nationally significant district. Properties listed at the State or Local level are NOT eligible for SAT.
