10 MarAnnouncing the launch of the Museum Learning Hub
The Council of Regional Museum Associations officially launched their Digital Empowerment Project website: the Museum Learning Hub.

The Museum Learning Hub (MLH) is a nationwide initiative organized by the six U.S. regional museum associations and dedicated to providing free, self-paced training resources for small museums. Part of the Digital Empowerment Project, the Hub provides digital media and technology capacity-building programs and resources. This inaugural series of online training and resource toolkits is funded by a National Leadership Grant for Museums award from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
The six regional museum associations partners include the Association of Midwest Museums (AMM), Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM), Mountain-Plains Museums Association (MPMA), New England Museum Association (NEMA), Southeastern Museums Conference (SEMC), and Western Museums Association (WMA)—collectively referred to as the Council of Regional Associations (CRA). All CRA members are 501(c)(3) non-profit professional service organizations providing educational programs for museums of varying types, sizes, and locations.
Beginning in April 2021, the program will offer expert tips, online training, and digital toolkits for FREE to small museums. A new module will be introduced each month with an introductory session or technical training workshop offered each week. All sessions will be broadcast live with an opportunity for attendees to ask questions in real time. Session recordings and transcripts will be available in each module after a live event.
