Celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, Hartman-Cox Architects is a Washington, DC based architectural firm that has continuously produced award-winning, imaginative and responsible design for academic, institutional and private clients. Hartman-Cox is particularly noted for its sensitivity and response to site and context, as well as its stylistic flexibility. This approach has consistently created buildings that are carefully tailored to, and expressive of, their function. The overriding principle behind the design of all our projects has been to create a memorable building while reinforcing its surroundings.
