Short Line Bus Network (part of the Coach USA network) has buses that travel to the West Point Visitor Center leaving from Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City (located at 41st and 8th Ave in Manhattan).*

The closest airport is Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, NY, about a 30 minute drive.

Connect to Metro-North Railroad from Air
Metro-North’s Hudson Line offers direct link to New York City (Grand Central Terminal) via Beacon Station. Access from New York Stewart International Airport to Beacon Station is available through Leprechaun Lines Newburgh Beacon Shuttle.
The shuttle bus departs in front of the Terminal Building, operates Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. (last departing shuttle), costs $1 and must be paid to the driver in cash. During off-hours, taxi service is available to the station.

What you need to know before you arrive
Enter the hotel at the Thayer Gate (PDF). You, and all occupants of your vehicle who are over 16 years of age, will be asked to furnish a valid photo identification such as; a current valid driver’s license or passport, or school ID (must be school-age). Acceptable forms of identification for adults over 18 include: driver’s licenses, a US passport, Department of Defense issued identification card, a permanent resident card/Alien Registration Receipt Card (1-551), a foreign passport with a temporary I-551 stamp or visa or an employment authorization document that contains a photograph (Form I-766).*
*Driver’s licenses from the American Samoa, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Washington State will have to use one of the other approved form of identification to enter West Point.
Parking
Valet parking is included in the facility fee for individual guests. If you do not opt for valet service, but would like assistance with your luggage, please use the call box located at the parking lot entrance for golf cart assistance. One of the valet will assist you and provide you a ride to the front door of the hotel.
Accessible Parking
There are limited accessible parking spaces located at the front of the hotel. In the event that those are taken, our valet staff will assist you.
