24 MarSymposium 2026 Call for Session Proposals
Session proposal submissions are now open for The Climate Toolkit Symposium 2026, presented by Phipps and Duke Farms, and hosted at Duke Farms, a Center of the Doris Duke Foundation, in Hillsborough, NJ, from Oct 28 – Oct 30, 2026.

In addition to plenary sessions on Ecological Restoration and Land Use, Institutional Decarbonization, and Community Engagement, the Toolkit is searching for sessions which cover a wide array of climate focus areas, projects and initiatives (including but not limited to the following):
· Education
· Youth Advocacy
· Climate Communication and Interpretation
· Programs and Outreach
· Transportation
· Green Teams and Staff Engagement
· Waste Management
· Food Services
· Facilities and Operations
· Water Systems
· Investments
· Sustainable Purchasing and Procurement
· Research
Session proposals may take the format of concurrent sessions, panel discussions, experiential or interactive workshops, and lightning round talks.
This year’s Symposium is an opportunity for museums, gardens, zoos, aquaria, science centers and field stations to come together and share strategies with an emphasis on mitigation, for building and implementing creative, holistic solutions to address climate change.
