Diversity Focused Collections Management and Registration centered programs

Field Museum staff are looking to compile a list of museum Collections Management and Registration centered programs that are focused on increasing the diversity of our workforce. This project started with a program they created, the Collections Management Diversity Apprenticeship Program, which is on hold until the current grant situation changes in America. They were inspired by other programs we knew about, but we have since learned that there are many smaller programs out there. The goal is twofold: to create a comprehensive list to help with recruitment to these programs and to look into creating a National Diversity Apprenticeship/Internship Program. The list will be widely distributed as a living google doc to national and regional museum organizations, HBCUs, museum studies programs, Museum Hue, etc. to ensure that those looking for these types of programs can easily find all of the available opportunities.
