American Battlefield Trust – Park Day

April 25, 2026, marks American Battlefield Trust’s 30th annual Park Day. Each year, thousands of history and museum enthusiasts, community-minded citizens, families, and more come together in a volunteer effort to help keep our nation’s heritage not only preserved, but pristine. This milestone year brings together historic sites and museums nationwide during National Park Week, National Volunteer Week, Earth Week, and the America Gives initiative, amplifying volunteer efforts while kick-starting activities for America’s Semiquincentennial anniversary.

Museums, historic sites, and preservation organizations of all types are welcome to participate. Project possibilities include:

• Archive organization and digitizing collections
• Clean exhibit windows and display cases
• Organize storage spaces
• Accessibility improvements and conservation work
