National Association for Interpretation’s annual conference

“Interpretation is a purposeful approach to communication that facilitates meaningful, relevant and inclusive experiences that deepen understanding, broaden perspectives and inspire engagement with the world around us.”  The National Association for Interpretation’s annual conference will be held in St. Augustine, Florida December 3-6. We are expecting 600 interpreters from around the world, from park rangers, environmental educators, living history reenactors, tour guides, docents, and animal care educators.  We will have a little something for everyone.  Our over 70 concurrent sessions have been carefully selected to have broad application across the field, hit on hot topics with key takeaways for immediate action when you get home. The keynote speakers are diverse in experience and will deliver meaningful and motivational messages. Don’t forget the additional pre-conference workshops and post-conference fieldtrips which will engage, educate and inspire you to remember your “why” you are in this profession.  Network during our group lunches and in the Innovation Expo hall.  We have more in store for you, check out the conference website for more details here.  Early Bird registration is open now until August 31. We also have virtual option with live stream of key moments and selected sessions only for online attendees.  Hope to see you in St. Augustine!
