The Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums (MAAM) invites you to a MAAM Board Service Open House (Virtual)—an informal session for those interested in learning more about serving on the MAAM Board of Directors.

This program offers a look at board service, including roles, responsibilities, time commitments, and the impact of MAAM leadership across the Mid-Atlantic museum community.

Attendees will hear from current Board members about their experiences, followed by an open Q&A to ask questions and explore whether board service is the right next step.

Whether you are considering a nomination or simply curious about MAAM governance, this is an opportunity to connect directly with current leadership in an open, conversational setting. MAAM is committed to building a diverse and representative Board and encourages interest from individuals with a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds.

Board nominations are due July 8, 2026.
